Originally from upstate New York, Sean always had an interest in computers. Growing up, he took pride in understanding the math and science concepts that most students struggled with. He also enjoyed helping teach and explain these concepts to his classmates in a way that they could understand. In 2014 he started his new journey in life, moving the Washington, DC and attending Howard University. Four short years later, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and then three years after that, graduated from George Mason University with a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering. While pursuing the master's degree he worked in the government contracting industry, taking on many roles. Some of which included Lead Software Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and Lead DevOps Engineer. Like most people, March of 2020 shifted his perspective on what it meant to do good business. Having taken note of some of the successes and failures he witnessed in the government contracting space, he decided to start his own IT company. One that focused on the client first and not the company's bottom line. Day-by-day that company has grown into what is now known as Solid Ground Innovations!
