Consulting Package Breakdown

Our consulting services are organized into four packages (known as Tiers), each with its own set of deliverables. Each deliverable corresponds to a stage in the systems engineering lifecycle.

Therefore, the higher the Tier you select, the more stages of the project lifecycle we will bring to life for you!

But don't worry, if you don't want to be confined to one of our consulting packages, you can also select individual deliverables for SGI to work on for your project.

Consulting Tiers

Tier 1 - Solution Planning
Tier 1 encompasses the planning stages of the client’s proposed project. Defining the high-level problem statement, current challenges, and the need created from this problem statement are the primary tasks of this consulting Tier. In addition to these tasks, the single most important is clearly defining the system level requirements for the project and the acceptance criteria for meeting those requirements. These requirements drive the subsequent low-level subsystem requirements along with the resulting work carried out in the higher-level consulting Tiers.

Tier 2 - Algorithm Design & Software Architecture
Tier 2 includes building and documenting a detailed subsystem-level design for the system's appearance, how it will operate, and how the components/subsystems/assemblies will be integrated together. The design decisions include the type of software system needed (web application, mobile application, etc.), the number of subsystems needed, and the system’s configuration mechanism(s).

Deliverables:
- System Requirements Specification (SRS) Document
- Camio SysML Diagrams & Simulations
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Tier 3 - Development & Implementation
MOST POPULAR
Tier 3 covers the development, testing, and integration phase of the systems engineering lifecycle. A Gantt chart schedule (detailing the timeline to reach each project milestone) and an Agile development product backlog will be created to track work completion. Once the backlog is finalized, developers and testers will carry out the work during 2 week sprints until the entire development and testing effort is complete.

- Product User Guide
Tier 4 - Operations Support & Maintenance
Tier 4 consists of monitoring the operation of the software, performing periodic maintenance updates, and continuously developing new features upon the request of the client. New features will be accompanied by updated systems engineering diagrams and an updated user guide. This Tier also includes a performance report where software runtime and memory complexity analysis is conducted and presented to the client.
